This is a draft Terms of Service intended for the equation2 public launch. The final version will be reviewed by counsel; usage of equation2 prior to the v1.0 publication is governed by these draft terms in good faith.
By creating an account or using equation2, you agree to these terms.
equation2 provides a hosted spreadsheet platform with formula compute, AI-powered functions, real-time collaboration, and a CLI. Service availability targets are published at status.equation2.com.
Do not use equation2 to break the law, to violate the rights of others, to attempt to bypass security controls, or to send spam. Do not attempt to extract or reverse engineer the function registry beyond ordinary use.
You own the data you put into equation2. We hold a license solely to operate the service for you.
Plans are billed monthly or annually via Stripe. AI-call overages bill at $5 per 1,000 calls and appear on your next invoice. Cancel any time — your account downgrades to the Free tier at the end of the billing period.
equation2 is provided "as is." We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages. Total aggregate liability is capped at amounts paid to equation2 in the prior 12 months.
We may update these terms; material changes will be announced via email at least 30 days in advance.
